The Role

We're seeking a high-impact Senior Python Software Engineer to join our Demand Team, which plays a pivotal role in our product ecosystem. Your team serves as the initial point of interaction for end customers, where search experience directly drives conversion. You'll work on systems that must be swift, intelligent, and seamlessly guide customers to booking completion.

What You'll Do

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code following best practices
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for web applications
• Implement backend solutions for business-critical applications
• Debug, test, and optimise applications for performance and scalability
• Maintain system uptime of at least 99.9% SLA
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering excellence

What We're Looking For

• Extensive production Python experience (Ruby or other languages a plus)
• Strong expertise with FastAPI, aiohttp, or similar modern frameworks
• Solid understanding of SQL databases, indexing, and locking mechanisms
• Nice to have: full-stack experience, Docker, Kubernetes proficiency
• Driven, ambitious mindset with hands-on problem-solving approach
• Demonstrated ownership and responsibility in complex problem spaces
• Fluent English communication skills, verbal and written
