Technical Product Manager (m/f/d) with Focus on Platforms

The Role

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager (m/f/d) with a Focus on Platforms for a permanent position. This role can be performed remotely anywhere in Germany with regular on-site customer engagements, approximately two days per week.

This position is designed to be actively shaped and driven by the person in it. While the near-term focus is centered on delivery, execution, and stabilizing platform-level coherence under ongoing pressure, you are expected to deliberately push the role and the platform toward a more outcome-driven footing. This includes elevating operator experience, operability, and cost efficiency to first-class product concerns.

Your Responsibilities

• End-to-End Platform Ownership: Take ownership for platform-level coherence across multiple product lines, balancing short-term delivery demands with the long-term evolution of the platform toward usability, operability, and cost efficiency.
• Platform Operations Interface: Represent Platform Operations as a primary customer persona and act as their main interface into product management, shaping the end-to-end operational journey and translating operational, reliability, and cost-related needs into clear, actionable product priorities.
• Dependency Management: Own platform-level dependency management by identifying, maintaining, and communicating functional dependencies across the product portfolio to enable reliable release planning, operational troubleshooting, and informed decision-making.
• Coherent Platform Experience: Ensure a coherent platform experience across product lines by critically reviewing roadmap scope, sequencing, and cross-product touch points for tenant-facing offerings while actively preventing fragmentation and UX drift at platform level.
• Release Governance: Provide strategic oversight and governance for customer-facing releases by reviewing and signing off on product strategy, functional scope, and platform alignment across all releases within your area of responsibility.
• Strategic Vision: Drive the evolution of platform-level thinking, establishing frameworks for platform coherence, operability excellence, and cost optimization as key competitive differentiators.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in technical product management or related roles
• Strong understanding of platform architecture and multi-product ecosystems
• Experience with stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
• Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic vision
• Experience in enterprise software or SaaS environments is a plus
