Position Purpose

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources Operations, the Senior Human Resources Manager provides exemplary employee support and strategic systems management in support of a robust HR function. This full-time remote position is based in the United States and plays a critical role in managing RTSL's global benefits strategy, Human Resource Information System (HRIS) architecture, leave administration, and HR compliance across our international organization.

The Senior HR Manager serves as the owner of the organization's HRIS, ensuring data integrity, process alignment, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and international regulations. You will oversee the design, evaluation, and delivery of benefits, advising leadership on the most competitive and cost-effective options for RTSL's global workforce. The position also serves as the primary liaison to employees for all benefits and leave matters.

Core Responsibilities

Benefit Management

  • Design, evaluate, and deliver comprehensive benefits packages tailored to global workforce needs
  • Advise organizational leadership on competitive, cost-effective benefits options
  • Manage vendor relationships and benefits administration across multiple jurisdictions
  • Ensure compliance with international benefits regulations and standards
  • Analyze benefits utilization and recommend strategic improvements

HRIS Management & Data Integrity

  • Own and oversee the organization's Human Resource Information System architecture and implementation
  • Maintain data integrity and security across all HR systems and employee records
  • Ensure process alignment and system integration across HR functions
  • Manage system updates, audits, and compliance documentation

Leave Administration & Compliance

  • Administer leave policies across global locations with varying regulations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international employment laws
  • Process and track employee leave requests and maintain accurate records
  • Provide guidance on leave entitlements and policy interpretation

Employee Support & Communication

  • Serve as primary employee liaison for benefits and leave inquiries
  • Provide clear, helpful communication about HR policies and procedures
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Develop training materials and documentation for HR processes

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with substantial focus on benefits administration and HRIS management
  • Demonstrated expertise in global benefits strategy and international HR compliance
  • Strong knowledge of US employment law and multi-country regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and HR technology systems
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholder needs
  • Experience in mission-driven or nonprofit organizations a plus
