The Role

Join Remote's Finance, Tax & Accounting team as an Accountant and play a key role in maintaining our financial health and supporting our rapid global growth. Our Finance team manages everything from tax and accounting operations to treasury, strategic finance, investor relations, and M&A activities. We focus on keeping finances healthy, transparent, and strategically aligned with our business objectives across every market we operate in.

Key Responsibilities

• Post and manage transactions in SAP financial systems
• Close and reconcile sub-ledgers including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Bank, and Intercompany accounts
• Record and reconcile payroll across multiple countries in compliance with local requirements
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation and support variance analysis preparation
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements including VAT returns, statutory financial documents, and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes

What You'll Bring

• Post-qualification accounting experience with demonstrated expertise in financial record-keeping
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant discipline
• Proficiency with core finance systems (SAP or similar platforms preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and commitment to compliance
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial work
• Solid financial analysis skills and ability to interpret complex data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (fluent level required)
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Strong time management with ability to meet tight, constant deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for financial modeling and analysis
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
• EMEA timezone requirement for collaboration and support
• Remote work experience is a plus but not required
