About This Internship
Join Khan Academy's US Content team as a Content Intern specializing in Social Studies. This is an exceptional opportunity to work directly with experienced Content Creators to develop, launch, and upgrade educational content on our platform. Under the mentorship of a seasoned professional, you will own and drive a project that provides end-to-end experience with all aspects of Khan Academy's content creation cycle.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Content Creators to design and develop courses, lessons, videos, articles, and practice questions in Social Studies
- Own a substantial project from conception through completion, gaining practical experience across the entire content development workflow
- Work within an Intern Learning Community to learn from colleagues across Khan Academy's organization
- Present your completed project to stakeholders at the culmination of the internship
- Contribute to world-class digital learning experiences for millions of students and educators globally

Position Details
- Duration: 8 weeks (Summer 2026)
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Compensation: $42/hour
- Location: Mountain View, CA (hybrid) or Remote (Continental US + Hawaii)
