The Role
The GoFundMe Pro team is seeking an expert Account Executive to drive sales for mid-market customers—the country's fastest-growing nonprofits and GoFundMe Pro's biggest market opportunity. In this performance-based role, you'll own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through contract negotiation, working with nonprofit leaders and C-suite executives to demonstrate how GoFundMe Pro's fundraising platform can transform their operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Source the majority of your own pipeline using rigorous sales processes, including MEDDICC sales qualification methodology, to build an accurate and robust sales funnel.
- End-to-End Sales Ownership: Manage the complete sales process for new mid-market and enterprise customers—from initial outreach and discovery calls through product demonstrations to contract negotiation and close.
- Executive Engagement: Deliver compelling web-based presentations to VP and C-suite executives, demonstrating deep product knowledge and navigating multiple decision-makers to secure approvals.
- Quota Achievement: Consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales targets in a performance-based, well-compensated environment.
- Industry Expertise: Become a trusted consultant on both the GoFundMe Pro toolset and the nonprofit sector, enabling strategic conversations with prospects about their unique challenges and opportunities.
- Team & Community Building: Participate in mentorship and sales advocacy programs, host regional events to generate new pipeline, represent GoFundMe Pro at industry conferences, and contribute ideas to team strategy and process improvements.
- Sales Operations: Manage pipeline strategies, pilot process improvements, and provide accurate quarterly forecasting using CRM tools.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of progressive B2B inside sales experience and 2+ years selling in a SaaS environment.
- Outbound Sales Expertise: Proven ability and enthusiasm for outbound pipeline generation, demand generation activities, and managing defined territories or books of business (new business focus).
- Sales Discipline: Expert-level understanding of pipeline management, sales stages, and sales processes; demonstrated ability to hit and exceed increased quota targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent listening, verbal, written, negotiation, and presentation abilities that inspire confidence in nonprofit leaders.
- Mindset: Ambitious, competitive spirit with a track record of consistently exceeding established goals and a genuine love for startup environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Salesforce CRM knowledge
- Training in Sandler sales methodology or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with the nonprofit sector or cause-driven organizations
