About the Role
As an Application Security and Performance Consultant, you will join Cloudflare Professional Services as an individual contributor in the post-sales landscape. You will be responsible for the technical execution of solutions and delivering expert guidance to enterprise customers, ensuring they maximize the value of their Cloudflare investment. This position requires deep expertise in Layer 7 security and performance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver timely, organized services for customers, ensuring they experience full value from Cloudflare's product suite and receive guidance on best practices
- Gather comprehensive business and technical requirements, use cases, and specifications to build and migrate customer solutions
- Produce detailed Solution Designs, High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), data builds, procedures, scripts, test plans, deployment plans, migration plans, and as-built documentation
- Manage seamless transition of Cloudflare working environments to customer technical teams
- Provide technical expertise across DDoS Protection, WAF, API Gateway, Bot Management, Certificate Manager, Rate Limiting, SSL, and Page Shield products
- Support customers during off-hours implementations when required for optimal deployment windows
Position Details
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. (with occasional weekend support for customer-specific implementations)
Travel: Approximately 30% expected
Available Locations: London (or remote UK), Lisbon (or remote Portugal)
Required Expertise
You must demonstrate expert-level knowledge of Layer 7 security products and solutions, with the ability to design, implement, and migrate complex enterprise security architectures. Strong technical documentation, stakeholder management, and post-sales consulting skills are essential for success in this role.
