About the Role

We are hiring our first Senior Enterprise Account Executives to scale Artie's sales motion. This is not a "run the playbook" role—you will refine and define what great full-cycle enterprise sales looks like for a deeply technical platform. You'll partner directly with founders, influence product strategy, and set the standard for future account executives.

Key Responsibilities

Run Full-Cycle Enterprise Sales

  • Own deals end-to-end: sourcing, qualification, discovery, demos, POCs, procurement, and closing
  • Navigate complex 6-12 month sales cycles with engineering, data, security, finance, and legal stakeholders
  • Build strong technical relationships and multi-thread deeply within accounts

Drive Technical Discovery & Solutioning

  • Understand customer architectures and pain points across SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, Kafka, Snowflake, and VPC networking
  • Map customer needs to Artie's capabilities with clarity and confidence
  • Whiteboard solutions with staff engineers and data architects

Lead Rigorous Evaluations

  • Build structured POC plans with clear success criteria
  • Partner with engineering teams to define mutual action plans
  • Drive evaluations toward confident decisions and closures

Source Your Own Pipeline

  • Generate 80%+ of pipeline through outbound prospecting, events, founder referrals, and creative sourcing
  • Initiate meaningful technical conversations with engineering decision-makers
  • Take ownership of pipeline creation and progression

Sell Vision and Business Value

  • Translate complex technical concepts (log-based CDC, Kafka buffering, data replication) into measurable ROI, TCO reduction, and platform reliability benefits
  • Articulate how Artie unlocks new opportunities for enterprise buyers
